Guardian VM1000S Series of spectroscopic radiation portal monitors (SRPM) accurately detects, identifies, and classifies radionuclides concealed in passenger vehicles, freight trucks, and trains. With three gamma detector configurations to choose from, this drive-through SRPM arrives on site customized for the application and location. Additional sensitivity refinements can be made by security personnel, whether local or remote, using the system’s industry-leading software. This supports exceptional NORM rejection, resulting in a near zero false alarm rate which maximizes throughput and minimizes the need for time-consuming manual inspections.

FEATURES

  • Spectroscopic Radiation Portal Monitor (SRPM) that detects and identifies radionuclides with speed and accuracy

  • Classifies radionuclides as NORM, SNM, industrial, or medical for superior norm rejection

  • Flexible design, offers multiple detector configurations, ensuring that the SRPM is sized to meet the site's objective

  • World-class software provides adjustable sensitivity settings that minimize nuisance alarms
